The “Creux Maldru” balm is said to have been an untraceable refuge in times of war and religious persecution. Refractory priests found refuge there during the French Revolution.
Indications
Go past the farm to the hamlet Under Mont-Noir then continue on the road. At Pille Choux descend into the valley where the Sainette, a tributary of the Saine, has its source.
Follow The Donkey Path, the pastures of On the Gits offer you a lovely panorama of the wooded mountains of the Jura plateaus. Borrow The Path of the Maldru Hollow which plunges into the forest to lead us to the very discreet balm located at 1130 m on the heights of Mont-Noir.
Go back down the same path until the The Donkey Path, follow the GTJ pedestrian direction AT VALENTIN, Via
