Guided tour of the Church of Saint-Germain in Mièges

Below the medieval town of Nozeroy, in the small town of Mièges, stands an exceptional monument. The Saint-Germain l'Auxerrois Church, listed as a Historic Monument, has remarkable elements including a roof terrace bell tower, unusual in the area.

During the guided tour, you will discover the rich architectural, statuary and pictorial heritage of this building, having been a Cluniac site after having belonged to the Abbey of Agaune. Its chapel of the Princes of Chalon and its hanging keystones (unique), its stained glass window representing the death of Saint Joseph and many other surprises.

Every Friday at 14:30 p.m. (other day possible depending on the availability of guides), from Easter to the end of September as well as during all school holidays.
Free visit but free participation for the benefit of the restoration of the building.
