The Art of Time

If the small medieval town of Nozeroy is worth the detour for more than one reason, Christian Petetin's store-workshop is undoubtedly one of its essential stores. In the middle of the Grande Rue, it is difficult to pass No. 20 without stopping in front of the window of “L'Art du Temps”, which does not look like a minimalist storefront: clocks and watches tick happily, alongside branded jewelry and other costume charms. For all tastes, at all prices. Once you push the door... bingo! We find ourselves in Ali Baba's cave.

We are then in 1998, and few people, at the time, did not take him for crazy. Open a business said
“luxury” in Nozeroy, in such an outlying town? But in addition to his exceptional know-how (the man is, among other things, official repairer of Cover and Suisse Military watches), Christian Petetin benefits from a key asset: a position at the heart of the “watchmaking triangle” (on the borders of the Jura , Doubs and Switzerland).

If the professional follows progress by also exhibiting connected watches, needless to say that “wristband computers” are not really his cup of tea. But from the traditional Comtoise clock to the famous “skeleton watch” and the cuckoo clocks from the Black Forest, Christian Petetin knows what he is talking about.
