Musée Archéologique

Created in 1985 to exhibit the collections resulting from excavations carried out in Champagnole and the surrounding area since 1965, the Archaeological Museum will teach you EVERYTHING about the daily life of the Gallo-Romans and Merovingians who lived around the “Pearl of the Jura” of the 1st to 7th century CE.

Access to the 1st floor by external staircase. For People with Reduced Mobility: access to part of the museum possible by elevator during library opening hours.

Open all year round for groups, schools and individuals depending on the availability of the cultural mediation service.

Open from July 4 to September 2, Tuesday to Saturday, 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 14 p.m. to 17 p.m.
