On an immense hilly plateau, between valleys and spruce forests, the northern areas of Haute-Joux and Foncine-le-Haut welcome you.

Here, you will find ski areas on a human scale, where everyone – from beginners to experienced athletes – can practice the activity of their choice. Welcome to our “anti-show off” stations!

Haute-Joux

A 100% natural setting

Altitude : 930 / 1237 meters

The northern domain of Haute-Joux owes its name to the eponymous forest. On foot, on skis or on snowshoes, take the time to appreciate the landscape, breathe the fresh air and enjoy the present moment! With nearly 22 cross-country ski trails of all levels, this family area is particularly suitable for visitors looking for authenticity, keen to avoid the crowds of large resorts. In the heart of unspoilt nature, everyone can easily indulge in the snow sport of their choice.

Foncine le Haut

A small mountain village

Altitude : 930 / 1275 meters

In Foncine-le-Haut, a typical Haut-Jura town with numerous shops and services, you can take full advantage of your stay in the mountains and ski on site or almost – on the slopes located on each side of the village. Here, no large buildings or commercial areas, but chalets, good restaurants offering local cuisine and small local shops. Whether you prefer sporting and relaxing activities or want to discover the snowy viewpoints at your own pace, the Foncine-le-Haut area will meet all your expectations thanks to the 17 cross-country ski trails.
