The Bulay belvedere

Perched on a rock culminating at 1139 meters above sea level, the Bulay belvedere offers a breathtaking panorama of the Jura massif. From Mont Poupet to Mont Blanc, the eye embraces the 360° of an exceptional painting. From the valley of Entrecôtes (typical landscape of the mid-mountain relief which extends below), the view extends to Mont Rivel, to Champagnole, passing through a cluster of plateaus, valleys, gorges and mountains...

The Bulay belvedere is accessible on foot from the Maison du Tourisme in Foncine-le-Haut (4,7 lm). You can also park at the base of the rock from where a staircase leads to the top, a few minutes' walk away.

The Rachet belvedere

Nestled on a rocky spur above the Chaux-des-Crotenay plateau, the Rachet belvedere offers a life-size view of the “Derrière Cornu” forest, the Baume rock, the Saine and Lemme gorges and the Nozeroy plateau – even Mount Rivel on a clear day. You can also see the ruins of a XNUMXth century fortified castle.e century, as well as the church of Chaux-des-Crotenay, two buildings that bear witness to the region's rich past.

Signposted from Chaux-des-Crotenay, the walk is accessible via the Entre-deux-Monts road. It can be extended to the Prés Grillet belvederes and Taiclet, on the other side of the town.

The Mouflon belvedere

Located in the commune of Fraroz, at the foot of Saint-Sorlin (the highest point of the Haute-Joux massif), the Mouflon belvedere offers a breathtaking view of the Nozeroy plateau and its string of villages, the vast Joux forest, Mont Poupet...
